Janke Studios is Atlanta’s first complete glassblowing center. Janke Studios is located at Studioplex within the Atlanta city limits in the Historic Martin Luther King Jr. District.

The driving force at Janke Studios is experimentation, creativity and pure energy. Our vision is to expose, promote and educate the Southeast on the art of glassmaking. We invite you to come by the studio to see our products and to share our passion by taking one of our classes.

Janke Studios offers both the beginning and experienced artist the use of state of the art equipment including a 300 pound furnace, glory holes in three sizes, a color furnace and classes for all levels. You will study with some of the finest craftspeople in the Southeast. Please come by or call us for more information.

A little heat turns ice into liquid. A great deal of heat turns sand into liquid. When water freezes we call it ice. When sand freezes we call it glass!

A Day for Dads

Give Dad the unique experience of creating his own hand blown mug or chip bowl while you cheer him on and help him design it. Each Dad will walk away with some game day snacks. Family Fun Camps

Why should the kids have all the fun? Family fun camps at Janke Glass Studios! These workshops have been designed to let the entire family show off their imagination (starting with children ages 7 an up. Anyone under 6 years old may come to observe and must be accompanied by a separate adult.) Camp dates are: June 15, 17, 21, 23, 25, 29; July 1, 5, 7, 9, 13, 15, 19, 21, 23, 27, 29; August 2, 4, 6. Each workshop's time is listed with it's description. Registration is required a minimum of 3 days in advance.

Family Flower Camp 9-11am

Make a beautiful family bouquet of glass flowers. Each family will recieve an additional 10% off towards a Janke Summer Vase to showcase the lovely work that you've made. $180 for one adult and up to two children (add one additional family member for $60.)

Fabulous Family Flameworking 12-2pm

Experience entry level beadmaking creating fun and funky beads. Each participant will make at least 3 beads to take home and create awesome jewelry with. $150 for one adult and up to two children (add one additional family member for $50.)

Sizzling Summer Paperweights for Tweens and Teens 3-6pm

Bring your tween or drop off your teen (15years old and up) and let their creativity soar making a sizzling hot summer sun paperweight. Class size: 4-6 people. $135 per person.
