Janke Studios is
Atlanta’s first complete glassblowing center.
Janke Studios is located at Studioplex within
the Atlanta city limits in the Historic Martin
Luther King Jr. District.
The driving force at Janke
Studios is experimentation, creativity and pure energy. Our
vision is to expose, promote and educate the Southeast on
the art of glassmaking. We invite you to come by the studio
to see our products and to share our passion by taking one
of our classes.
Janke Studios offers both the
beginning and experienced artist the use of state of the art
equipment including a 300 pound furnace, glory holes in
three sizes, a color furnace and classes for all levels. You
will study with some of the finest craftspeople in the

A little heat
turns ice into liquid. A great deal of
heat turns sand into liquid. When water freezes
we call it ice. When sand freezes we call it
glass!
